Great Trango Tower (6286m) Rock Climbing

The Karakorum range Pakistan has many extensive granite peaks, Adventure Guide Pakistan offering some of the best adventure rock climbing on the globe . One of the most infamous of these peaks is Trango Tower, as well as the surrounding peaks including Nameless Tower, Uli Biaho,Ogri & Latok, Amin Brakk Nangma Valley, Hainablak, Shipton Spire, this Peak situated in inaccessible Northern Area of the Karakorm Baltistan. and There are many other un climbed rock and snow peaks, Hare is great opportunities for new exploration and route development. Great Trango Tower (6286m) Range:             Karakoram Altitude:          6286m Zone:               Open Duration:         45 Days Best Time:        May - End September The Great Trango Tower is one of the jagged granite needles and blocks of Trango Tower alongwith glimmering Trango Glacier situated in Baltoro region. At the snout of the Baltoro Glacier the trail divides. We will take the left branch to the BC of Trango Tower. En-route we will enjoy spectacular views and gigantic mountain panorama including Paiyu Peak (6660m), Uli Biaho Tower (6417m), Liligo, Urdukas Peak, Gasherbrum IV (7925m), Mitre Peak (6025m) and etc. The amphitheatre provides an ideal venue to appreciate some of the most inspiring and unique mountain vistas in the world.

Itinerary

Day 1	Islamabad Arrive Islamabad. Official briefing.
Day 2	Skardu/Chilas Fly to Skardu. (Flight is subject to weather). In case of cancellation of flight drive (10-12 hrs) by coach to Chilas (480 km) on Karakoram Highway
Day 3	Chilas/Skardu Day free at Skardu. If your are driving, complete road journey (07-08 hrs) to Skardu (275 km) En-route has good view of Nanga Parbat (8125m).
Day 4	Askole (3000m) By jeeps drive to Askole (6-7 hrs).
Day 5	Jhola (3200m) Start 2-3 hours walk cross wasteland and traverse Biafo Glacier a tortured Ocean of moving boulders and crevasses 2 km wide.
Day 6	Paiyu (3600m) Start on a relatively easy trail for 3-4 hrs.
Day 7	Base Camp (4900m) 7-8 hours slightly easy walk, with spectacular views and gigantic mountain panorama, including Muztagh Tower, Gasherbrum IV, Mitre Peak and the mighty K-2.
Day 8-37	30 days for acclimatization and climbing.
Day 38	Trek back to Paiyu. Overnight at tent.
Day 39	Trek to Jhola.
Day 40	By jeeps drive to Askole (8-9 hrs).
Day 41	By jeeps drive to Skardu.
Day 42	Islamabad/Chilas Fly to Islamabad (Subject to weather conditions). In case of flight cancellation drive to Chilas. Overnight at hotel.
Day 43	Islamabad Leisure day a Islamabad. In case of driving, complete road journey from Chilas to Islamabad. Overnight at hotel.
Day 44	Islamabad De-briefing. Overnight at hotel.
Day 45	Fly out. Transfer to airport for your return flight home.
